Ever since in high school, my interest was in volunteering. I had the privilege to inspire others through founding several clubs and also actively participating in other community service activities. As early as that age, I knew to build my career upon service and to be surrounded by the nonprofit sector. After I was admitted to UCLA, I looked for all of the service clubs available and I joined a North Korean refugee support organization at UCLA. In the process, I discovered Aurora and was given the wonderful opportunity to become a tutor for a student. The rest is history and here I am today.
